Tyler Cruzan Tyler Cruzan, 16 of Paris, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2006, at his home. Funeral services were held on Monday, January 23, at 10:00 a.m. at Agnew Funeral Home with Reverend Gene West officiating. Visitation was from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, at the funeral home. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in Shelbina. Tyler was born on June 4, 1989, in Hannibal, the son of David and Sharon (Strachan) Cruzan. He is survived by his parents; one sister, Katie, all of Paris; grandparents Windell and Mary Strachan of Shelbina; aunts and uncles. He attended Paris High School and worked for the Paris Senior Citizens Center. He loved the outdoors and his dog named Browning. Monroe County Appeal, January 26, 2006 Submitted by Don Duvall Thomas Clayton Mallory Thomas Clayton Malloray, 84, of Moberly, died February 12, 2006 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. Mr. Mallory was born February 9, 1922 in Madison to Dave and Delia (Botkins) Mallory. Mr. Mallory worked as an engineer for the railroad before retiring. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of Central Christian Church, the VFW, the American Legion, and a former member of the Moose. On February 9, 1946 in Kansas City he married Mary Jeanne Smith and she survives of the home. Other survivors include a grandson Scott Sasek of Columbia, and a granddaughter, Wendy Blair of High Point, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Linda Kay Sasek; one sister and two brothers. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Million-Taylor Funeral Home in Moberly. He was born on January 25, 1942, in Monroe County to Hurman R. and Barbara E. Johnston. He worked at A. B. Chance Co. as a laborer and served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. On June 1, 1963, he married Carol Hull. He is survived by his wife, Carol Hendren of the home; his mother, Barbara Hendren of Moberly; two sons, John R. and Dee Hendren and Mark A. and Elizabeth Hendren; brothers, Hurmon Gene and Darlene Hendren and Randy Elliot and Julie Hendren; four grandchildren, John Hendren Jr., Joshua Hendren, Kelsey Hendren and James Hendren, all of Madison; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Hurmon R. Hendren. Services were held on Wednesday, January 11, at 10:30 a.m. at Million-Taylor Funeral Home in Madison. Mrs. Nash was born Ella Mae Carey in Paris. She married Neal Nash in March of 1942. While he was in the Air Force, she drove officers and enlisted men in military Jeeps in the Army. They moved to San Francisco, CA in 1945, where she worked for the Emporium. On moving to Portola Valley, CA in 1961, she and her husband opened Village Square Market and Fountain. Later she worked for several gift shops in Menlo Park, CA, where she supported her love to decorate. You could always tell the season by the decorations in her home. She was a past member of the Woodside/Portola Valley Lioness Club and a Cub Scout leader. She loved to travel, shop and go to the theater. Her biggest love was her family. In 2000, they moved to Auburn, CA. She is survived by two sons, Steve Nash of Modesto, CA and Mark Nash of Auburn, CA; three daughters-in-law, Rene Nash of Modesto, CA, Joyce Nash of Auburn, CA and Jean Nash of Portola Valley, CA; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and granddaughter-in-law. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Windsor Nash; eldest son, Greg Nash of Portola Valley, CA and sister, Wilma Morgan of Paris. Services were held at Lassila Funeral Chapel, 551 Grass Valley Highway, Auburn, CA, on January 25, at 10:00 a.m. There was viewing prior to the service at 9:00 a.m. A private burial was held at Alta Mesa Cemetery in Palo Alta, CA on the following day. Ezra Lee Buckner Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, and a Brother, a Husband, Sportsman, Hunter, Craftsman, Incomparably Talented Interior Designer, and quite a Sharp Dresser. Ezra Lee Buckner, Sr., 76 of Paris, passed away at his home in Paris on Saturday, February 11, 2006. Mr. Buckner was born on December 6, 1929, at Hunnewell, the son of John and Gretta (King) Buckner. He was a Veteran of World War II, having served in the Army. He was employed in Chicago for 41 years before retiring and returning to Paris in 1988. He is survived by six children, Ezra Buckner, Jr. of Chicago, IL, Lee Green and Greta Buckner, both of Minneapolis, MN, Oscar Gray of Chicago, IL, Delores Ahuvah Gray of Israel, and Nellie Prestwood of California; two sisters, Dorothy Tillman and Shirley Boyd, both of Paris; and one brother, David Buckner of Paris; seventeen grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Lorenzo Buckner; four sisters, Allene Taylor, Elnora Little, Catherine Kyles and Mary Sharp; and four brothers, Milton Williams, Robert Buckner, John Buckner and Calvin Buckner. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2006, at the Agnew Funeral Home, 128 West Caldwell, in Paris, with Reverend Sheila Thompson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Any friends and old classmates are welcome to share in a celebration of his life.
