Nostalgic Winter Scene of Long Ago

Historic Paris winter scene that could have been taken at a Christmas long ago. Although the exact date is not known. It looks to the west on Monroe Street from the top of the path leading to the east approach to the creek footbridge. At right in the trees is the former historic Flanders house that was torn down for construction of the Senior Citizen housing complex. In distant right is the round dome of the old brick courthouse that existed before the present one was built in 1913. At lower left is the former Darnell house, now owned and occupied by Mr. and Mrs. James Mintz. The footbridge, now steel was made of wood when the photo was taken.
